Educational journey to Oświęcim

Since 1967 the Gymnasium in Großkrotzenburg near Hanau is a very well-known school for Franciscan education and teaching.

The school profile and programme emphasizes the collective responsibility of pupils, parents and teachers to form the spiritual and pedagogical basis that is part of the Franciscan tradition and is applied in the school.

For several years teachers of Gymansium Großkrotzenburg organize for its students the educational journey to Oświęcim. Their program in Oświęcim/Auschwitz entails study tours in the camps, meeting with survivor, guided visit to town and Art Exhibit in Camp Auschwitz I.
