The representatives of the Esperantists Association of Beijing and Chinese Tea Association of City for the promotion of the Hangzhou Tea brand visited the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp on 19.09.2017.
Then at the Centre for Dialogue they wondered whether after such a terrible events, it was possible to… create poetry.
Hosts were invited to a tea ceremony. „The common drinking of tea is a sign of respect and peace. The ceremony is not just about drinking. In China it is also an important part of the culture, spiritual culture as well”, says Gxoja Zhang, an Esperantist from the Chinese Radio.
