Meeting of young teachers and students’

The Maximilian-Kolbe-Werk will organize a project for teachers from Germany, Poland and other European countries.

The programme includes a study visit to the former camp Auschwitz-Birkenau and a meeting with a survivor. The teachers will exchange experiences and discuss how pupils should be prepared to visit the Memorial Place, study and discuss the topics of World War II and the Nazi terror in their history classes (and other subjects). During workshops, they will become familiar with different ideas for school topics and creative work for their students.
