“Sixth European Workshop on Dealing with the Past of Auschwitz Burdened by Violence’’

Participants in the workshops will be people representing Catholic and State organizations from European countries. During the six day workshop the group will visit Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau andMarian Kołodziej Art Exhibition. They will meet witnesses of the Holocaust and will take part in the Way of the Cross in Birkenau. The workshop participants will discuss problems which arose after WWII in their countries and the processes of reconciliation now in progress. The aim of this workshop is to engage with the process of joint recognition of each other; to acknowledge the suffering of the victims; to support the structures and processes of reconciliation.
