A Learning Community Pilgrimage to Auschwitz-Birkenau

The pilgrimage to Auschwitz is part of a 5 year programme for the leaders of the Anglican Communion in the United Kingdom. This group (Learning Community) meet regularly for a time of theological and pastoral formation. Archbishop Justin Welby is the Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury, Primate of the Church of England and head of the world Anglican Communion. He wanted to include the pilgrimage visit to Auschwitz as part of this programme. The group will be accompanied by two bishops of the Anglican Communion.
