“Study Visit for students from IONA College”
Professor Elena Procario-Foley returns to the Centre for Dialogue and Prayer for Iona’s fourth study visit 09-16 March, 2013. This is part of a three unit course for the students. Their programme in Oswiecim entails study tours in the camps, a series of lectures, seminar with the students in PWSZ, meeting with a survivor, guided visit to Jewish Centre Oswiecim and town, Labyrinth exhibition of Marian Kolodziej in Harmeze, and Jewish quarter and city of Krakow.
Professor Elena Procario-Foley teaches Iona’s core course in Religious Studies; Introduction to Christian Theology; Images of Jesus throughout History; Jesus and Judaism.
She is a well known person in the field of Christian Jewish dialogue.
