With profound gratitude we thank God
for the wisdom, sensitivity, openness, courage, love and deep faith
of Cardinal Franciszek Macharski.

Without him the Centre for Dialogue and Prayer would not exist
and would not have become a place of reconciliation and hope
at the edge of Auschwitz.
