Study visit of volunteers from Horizont

Horizont  is  an organization for German - Polish dialogue. Former volunteers began this organization and it currently has over 100 members from Germany. Horizont offers a variety of projects and joint meetings for  German - Polish dialogue.
Twenty members stayed in the Centre for Dialogue and Prayer from the 23th January until the 28th.  These young volunteers doing their service in many parts of  Poland came to Oświęcim in order to participate in the seminar. The group visited camp Auschwitz I and Birkenau, the exhibition Labyrinth in Harmęże,  the Jewish Cente and the city of Oświęcim. The group met with Mr. Zieliniewicz, a survivor from Auschwitz. They also had the unique opportunity to attend the 67th anniversary of  the Day of Liberation of Auschwitz.
